water is finally clear, can see weeds, no sign of "water pigs" aka carp

- skim of ice forming in some locations
- lots of algae still floating
- lots of leaves found on bottom
- saw mallards
- high hoe and dump trucks on the dyke adding gravel and brushing back vegetation

Increase in macrophyte growth since last month, lots of crickets chirping, frogs jumping in the water.
