About
I'm the Executive Director of the Bay Area Restoration Council, a non-profit corporation that represents the public interest in the recovery of Hamilton Harbour. I hold a PhD from McMaster University in Great Lakes policy and governance and an adjunct faculty appointment in McMaster’s School of Earth, Environment & Society. I serve on the International Joint Commission’s Great Lakes Water Quality Board and the Canadian Environmental Law Association’s Healthy Great Lakes Advisory Committee, and chair the Hamilton Harbour Remedial Action Plan's Watershed Advisory Group.
Training
I have some training in ecology and hold a PhD in Great Lakes water policy and governance from McMaster University. Under my leadership, BARC in 2019/2020 is establishing new school and volunteer programs in water testing and monitoring.
