Notes

Approach is safe. Caution for ticks.
Immediate pollution source as Lagoon Outfall.
Brown Algae observed at the location which is attached to the rocks.
Colour on the Teststrip for pH is darker than 8.4, however, 8.4 is the highest number in the Teststrip, therefore, 8.4 is entered as a value.
Much more algae growth. The water is cloudy and greenish. No water birds or fish noted. Aquatic plants flourishing, cattails over 5’ high. pH levels remain above Teststrip capacity to measure. Should have electronic test equipment for accurate data.
