How to test it
Follow your instructions for your testing device. Make sure tests are consistent!
Why it's important
- Lakes and Rivers have an optimum pH level (around 7.4)
- Levels between 6-8 is considered normal
- Fish and organisms can't survive above or below certain values
- Large changes in pH could indicate that the area is in trouble
