Notes

This lake is situated exactly below the historic iron mine load out, for ore distribution. This lake's perimeter is coated in orange and yellow staining prevalent to iron rock/acid drainage bi-products from this legacy mine, which provided iron to market during World War II.

Testing in this lake is 1 of many in the area, which will provide further feedback on whether reclamation of these mines, as per commitments to the Federal Government in obtaining the Environmental Compliance Approval received for the Magino Project. Reclamation is set to occur soon, and hopefully this environment does not suffer further from remediation activities.
