Notes

A few maple leaves in the water
2 large salmonids swimming observed, possibly the same individual, most likely Chinook Salmon spawning
(Oncorhynchus tshawytscha)- approximately 75 cm or 2.5 ft (by eye)
1 large dead fish located at the mouth of Rotary Creek (most likely Chinook)

possibly 1large gar swimming by the left-over phragmites
new oak trees planted along the shoreline across from the site
Perch heads and body parts appear to be dumped in the middle/upper portion of the creek upstream of the sample site (the reason, currently unknown to me)
