Himalayan Balsam on the banks.
Birds heard (identified via Merin app) but not always seen: robin, blackbird, magpie, song thrush, blue tit, long-tailed tit, wood pigeon, blackcap.

Some litter around the beck--cans, plastic bottles.

Lots of wild garlic and nettles. Some fallen vegetation downstream from sampling site.
Water level is lower than previously--not much rain recently--but still steady flow.
