Beaver Creek
Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Small bridge upstream sample. There is a narrow bridge crossing over Beaver Creek on College Road. The road is narrow, and some local traffic passes through it. Wearing high-visibility clothing is recommended at this site. Water samples are collected from the upstream (South-facing) side of the bridge using a throw bucket. Further downstream, Beaver Creek merges with Black Creek.

View all photos3 blue jays and a great blue heron. Creek was very cloudy as compared to last months visit, interesting considering the large increase in conductivity and chloride.
No chloride test forgot to order more strips.
Observed what I think was an egret in the creek, flew up into a tree when it saw me. There was another near the entrance to the golf course. Didn’t get a picture.
Low water level
High flow at sample point but still a lot of ice coverage.
Nothing worth noting
Melt water on ice surface, lots of animal tracks.
Red squirrel, found that a little odd.
