No rain had fallen in the last few days as far as I know.
R-cards had more that 200 colonies, so followed instructions and entered 250 colonies for each card.
Our thermometer is broken.
River was flooded and we took water way above shoreline.

Water was a bit high; no sandy beach in sight.
Water got stirred up while collecting, due to the fact that we were being filmed for a news broadcast, and the camera person went into the water first to film from that vantage point.
