View all photosSpring is here! First time out monitoring in 2021. Today is World Water Day, reflecting on the value of water. Gorgeous day to be out along Toronto's waterfront. Warm sunshine! Shimmering water. A few ducks fluttering around, but otherwise clear. Dear Lake Ontario, you're particularly beautiful today.
Thanksgiving weekend: parents helped test on west side of Sunnyside Beach, Toronto waterfront, Lake Ontario.
My friend Penny and I walked down to the water to enjoy a bit of sunshine and do some testing. A cool breeze out there. Definitely felt like fall. We watched as a swimmer took a dip. Penny dipped her toes in to test the temperature. A couple of wedding parties were down at the beach for photos. Looking particularly lovely. Meanwhile vehicles on the Gardiner snailed forward. We observed a mini elastic band mishap on the ramp above the traffic. And witnessed the longest of long kite stings, a tiny red speck in the sky.
