Black Creek

There is a narrow bridge crossing over Black Creek on College Road. The road is narrow, and some local traffic passes through it. Wearing high-visibility clothing is recommended at this site. Water samples are collected from the upstream (South-facing) side of the bridge using a throw bucket.
There are a few nearby features that may impact water quality. This site is upstream of the QEW; however, it is downstream from the Stevensville pumping station and a metal manufacturing industry. There is also a cemetery near the site.

Water temp appears to be too high for the time of year but after resampling. Same result.
Water level appears to be low.
There was some flow on the east bank but not accessible due to flooding. The creek is still 99% covered.
Nothing worth noting
Melt water on surface of ice and plenty of snowmobile and 4 wheeler tracks.
High water flow.
Ice is forming on the edges of the bank upstream of the bridge.
