Some loons in the water near by. Birds were chirping in the trees.
About 1km into the water there was floating ice.
Water is mostly unmoving and very clear, no lake ice yet. Qualitative observations, including not seeing any wildlife, were quite rushed.
Saw seagulls circling in the middle of the lake, suggesting fish were assembling there.
