River Lea
London, Hackney, United Kingdom
The River Lea divides just after this point with a weir leading to the River Lea and the water not going over the weir becoming Lee Navigation. They rejoin after Old Ford Lock.
The water is moving; there is easy access from the towpath with a railing making it safe. The bank is vertical and concrete at the test site, so taking samples is straightforward.
