I only had 2 Rcards so I had only two tests to report.
Mayflies around again.

No geese and no boats present.

Large flock of Canada geese in the water. 10-15 boats at 11 am, with more approaching.

My thermometer has a bubble so my temp readings may not be super accurate.

Very high e-coli amounts; photo of R-cards included. In 2 samples “other coliform” could not be counted because it was just a red background blur. The system required a number so I entered 0 since the e-coli count is the important number.
The reservoir was extremely choppy and rough, with a straight east wind; high waves coming up over rocks onshore. Several herons flying low and fast overhead.
Regarding e-coli count for sample 2: the blue dots were so numerous that I counted one square and multiplied that only by the number of squares covered by the water sample. For partially covered squares I estimated how many additional squares they would equal.

Shad schools (according to Andrew) feeding at surface of water. Between 12 and 15 Canadian geese on the shore. No rainfall in the past 24 hours. Very calm water. No wind.

Light rain within the 24 hours prior to sampling. Two boats near sampling area with people swimming and tubing. Someone was walking her dog near the water. Sunny and warm. The water was quiet.
