This is the water supply for the city of Kirkland Lake and there is no boating, fishing, swimming or development on this lake. Test site is located just behind the health warning sign on a flat rock along the shoreline.

Sunny calm day with no rainfall in past 24 hours. Shoreline is much further out than in past years testing here…..now a sand beach with rocks that were under water before and depth measurement taken out much more. A yellow boom in place around much of the lake which I am guessing is there due to roadwork having been done along this highway all summer long and continuing now?

Sunny and windy day with a few scattered clouds. Some crows and seagulls around. Shoreline seems further back than usual and low too.
Sunny and calm day. No rainfall in past 24 hours.Seagulls, kids fishing off a nearby point, beaver damn across the highway, and lots of garbage strewn around the roadsides. Ice is about half off the lake and the test location where we usually do it had ice still along the shore so we did this test from a point not too far away from it instead where the water was open.

Sunny, mild and calm day with some rain during past 24 hours. Some pollen on surface near shoreline and lots of goose droppings on the grass. Red winged blackbirds, seagulls, other birds and a few butterflies seen. A single loon fishing not far from shore. Usual road traffic noise from highway 66 nearby.
Sunny warm evening with light winds. Many blackbirds to be seen and other birds heard in the area. Many insects....mostly mosquitoes of course ( this is northern Ontario after all ) . Highway noises from nearby traffic.
