Flood warning on the Ching on Wed 27/11/24 with rver rising throughout the morning

Water noticeably browner than usual both upstream and downstream of the testing point

Dog in the water prior to sampling

Result flashing indicating that the reading is over 2.5

Water upstream of the outfall pipe was clear whereas downstream of the outfall it was cloudy with a brown suspension possibly of silt

slight surface cloudiness

Several dogs entered the water after we took the sample

heavy rain in the 3 hours prior to taking this sample has resulted in fast flowing opaque water
