Upstream from the monitoring location, creek flows underneath a concrete culvert (a type of bridge that allows water to pass under a road). In addition to the main creek flow, there are two smaller pipes visible on either side of the culvert walls, each discharging additional water into the creek (could be stormwater outflows but not sure). A pipe on the left bank is discharging brown coloured water. It is clearly visible two different water mixing under the culvert and making the entire creek's clarity opaque.

Duck with her ducklings swimming in the creek. The water flow was very slow, it looked like it wasn't moving. There was a layer of dandelion seeds. pH colour on the teststrip was darker than 8.4, however, 8.4 is the highest number on the teststrips. Therefore, pH is 8.4 mentioned in the observation.
