Duck pond

The water level was low, 63 water fowl on pond, 9 pigeon and 1 white pigeon. Wear gloves when samplig and watch the step down to the water, there is a slight hill with lose gravel that can be uneven and moving when standing on it. Odour: smell of birds and kind of sewagish.

There was one herring present among the ducks, not a lot of leaves on the pond for the season.

Special weather:- sudden heavy rainfall followed by sun and thunder. Duck litter in the immediate surroundings. The pond doesn't look good.

Lots of birds are there and because of steady water whatever good or bad stuff inside stays there and affects the chemistry of the water. For instance, birds’ poop and other debris and they decay and smell bad. Also, it increases pH and confits its water. It smelled bad, a lot of geese there, and bird feathers on the water's surface. The odour of decaying vegetation.

Be careful while entering for monitoring because of the slopy path and stones. The entrance path is sloppy and covered with stones. Please be careful while walking there.

Because of rain entrance of the site is slippery be aware of that. There are lots of mosquitos and other little insects around the site.
There are ducks and geese around and inside the water too.
