Scouts Canada - Camp Opemikon

About

A residential camp run by the Voyageur Council (Ottawa-Kingston) of Scouts Canada. We host a summer camp open to all youth in July to mid-August. The rest of the year the camp is used by scouting and guiding groups on weekends as well as by other youth and educational groups.

Water testing protocol

We will be conducting tests regularly near our property and out in the lake, including where a tributary of the Tay River flows into the lake.

July to mid-August this will be done by campers as part of their weekly program, monitored by staff.

Rest of the year will be done regularly by volunteers.
