Between June 3 and June 11, take your friends or family to visit your local waterway, test the water, and record your results on your field sheet and take action photos. There are enough test strips to do 10 tests! Earth Rangers will send you a form to collect your data. If you want to keep testing, you can join the Earth Rangers group on Water Rangers (you’ll need to make a free account)
Water testing protocol
The Earth Rangers use the Ocean Week Canada tiny testkit. These include a thermometer for measuring air and water temperature, as well as test strips to measure chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and hardness.
